First things first, I was planning on cosplaying as Vince Turk Valentine (although I knew no one would recognize me, except for the few rare Final Fantasy VII cosplayers). I had my black suit and suit pants, my white collared shirt, black loafers, my short black hair, sunglasses and of course the black tie (I hadn't gotten the gun yet, but I was planning on it).
So I drove up to my friend Marta's house ; there I planned on meeting Em-chan and Felicia to go as a group, but of course, I came late, and had to get my (now angry) Dad to drive me to Toronto.. after he dropped of my brother at college.
I have no cell phone and I don't know my friends' cell phone numbers, so I was pretty much screwed in the hopes of trying to find them at the con.

So eventually I arrived at the MTCC with 105$ in pocket.
Later it was only 75$ as I went through admission (which I had to fill out a random survey, then wait FOREVER in the line).

As I (finally) made my way downstairs (alone), I walked in circles until I got my bearings. I took a couple cosplay photos (i.e. Sephiroth, Master Chief, Cortana, etc) then made my way through a very long line into the dealers room.

One sentence: so many people, so little space.

Alone and scared in a convention world, so big, I ventured around, looking at comics, Lord of the Rings figurines, and of course the many numerous game stations. Continuing I went over to the independant artists tables, where I bought some sick shit and grabbed a few business cards, and learned of a youtube channel called Life and Level (if you like video games and watching men get hurt, this is definately the channel for you youtube.com/lifeandlevel).

Being the FMA fan that I am, I stood in line for Aaron Dismuke (Alphonese Elrics voice actor) to get an autograph, when, hell, to my surprise, MARTA EMILY AND FELICIA WERE IN LINE ASWELL! Huzzah! It only took me 1 hour to find them!

After hugs and many 'WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU?'s, we got (the very cute) Aaron's autograph and pictures. Lucky, lucky Em-chan got him to sign her pants. Surprisingly he wrote "Aaron was here on Emily... wait... :S " Which we thought was pretty jokes.

We walked around, took many photos, bought many things (anime cost more than drugs these days..) and me and Emily also got autographed by Brad Swaile (pronounciation?) which took an hour even though the line was short. He was so nice, and also got to sign Em's pants.

Felicia got checked out by a cute Otaku Marta freaked over everything Soul Eater and Final Fantasy VII related, Emily conintued to obsess over Aaron Dismuke, while I totally kept spending my very little money which actually seemed to be popping out of nowhere

The last event of the evening we did was get autographs by Crispin Freeman (Itachi Uchiha and Rude from FFVII's voice actor). We got in the line about 40 minutes early, and even then, we were the second last people allowed inside to get autographs (luck was with us!). It took forever though, and eventually we got our whatevers signed (Emily, again with her pants, Marta with a FFVII poster and Felicia with the Ouran High bunny)

The day was good, we ended it by chilling in the gardens waiting for Marta's sister to pick us up, and playing (if indeed, that's what you call it) with Marta's Reno figurine, and our cameras.

so, after it all, I spent 102$ total:
